Astrocade Launches $100,000 Winner-Take-All Creator Competition to Find the Star Creators of Playable Content

Astrocade, the content platform where anyone can create, share, and play games and interactive content, today announced a $100,000 winner-take-all Creator Competition. 25 creators will spend three weeks making playable content on Astrocade, and the one whose work earns the most plays wins the full prize. Applications are open now through November 20 at https://www.astrocade.com/contests/100k-creator-contest-2026. The competition is free to enter and open to those 18 and older.

For two decades, creators have built their audiences with text, photos, and video. Astrocade believes the next generation will build theirs with content people can play. The platform allows anyone to make an idea playable by simply describing it, so every contestant works with the same tools. No coding or game development experience is required. What separates one creator from another is knowing what people will engage with and share: pranks, skits, memes, real-life moments, and inside jokes, all made playable for the first time.

“Every new medium creates its own stars; the creators who win on the next platform are rarely the ones who won on the last one,” said Amir Sadeghian, CEO and co-founder of Astrocade. “You don’t need to have any specific background. You need to understand what makes people want to play. We built this competition to find those people, wherever they are, before anyone else knows who they are.”

Who should apply

The competition is for anyone with the instinct for what people will engage with, whether or not they’ve ever touched a game: comedians and skit creators, meme accounts, streamers, musicians, writers, designers, developers, and builders of any kind with an idea they’re sure people would play. The format is new enough that no one is an expert yet, so experience making things people love matters more than gaming experience. Every contestant will have their work put in front of Astrocade’s 10 million monthly players.

How the competition works

  • Applications are open November 5 to November 20.
  • The competition runs for three weeks, from November 30 to December 20.
  • Each week, contestants publish new playables on Astrocade and share their work across social platforms.
  • The winner is the creator with the most total plays across everything they publish during the competition.
  • Full rules and the application are at https://www.astrocade.com/contests/100k-creator-contest-2026.

Where Astrocade is today
