MADRID, SPAIN, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — OpenNebula Systems, the leading provider of Sovereign Cloud and AI Factory management software, today announced a collaboration with Nokia to strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty by supporting large-scale AI infrastructures. As European companies, both organizations share a common vision of open, interoperable technologies that enable sovereign AI deployments across the continent.
The collaboration combines OpenNebula’s vendor-neutral AI infrastructure management platform with Nokia’s data center networking portfolio. As a first step, the companies will work on integrating Nokia’s data center networking solutions with OpenNebula’s management platform to support new AI Factory deployments through seamless orchestration of compute, GPU, networking, and storage resources.
Beyond the initial integration, OpenNebula Systems and Nokia intend to collaborate on technical validation, reference architectures, demonstrations, and joint engagement around European sovereign AI infrastructure initiatives, including EuroHPC AI Factories, AI Gigafactories, Neoclouds, HPC environments, and private clouds for AI.
